We are delighted to be partnership with a growing technology business with a fantastic ethos, who are seeking to recruit their next Accounts Assistant. Working alongside and reporting into the UK Financial Controller, this role is perfect for someone who thrives in a varied, engaging accountancy position. This role will be worked flexibly, with your hours split between their North Cambridge office and at home.

As the incoming Accounts Assistant, you will be tasked with the following set of responsibilities:
- All aspect of Purchase and Sales Ledger
- Weekly Bank reconciliations
- Monthly Cash flow reporting
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Assisting with the month end Management Accounts processes
- Additional ad hoc duties at the discretion of the Financial Controller

For a position of this calibre, the organisation are looking for someone with previous experience working in a busy Accounts Assistant role prior. From a qualification stand point, this role would be suitable for you if you are AAT qualified, ACCA/CIMA part qualified or qualified by experience. Other attributes that you will ideally possess include:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Adaptable in your approach to work
- Strong excel skills, and good experience with ERP based or other finance systems
- Ability to prioritise workload efficiently and effectively
- Good attention to detail.
