Part of TBLA’s ongoing growth strategy is to recruit an experienced Accountant to join the team and work across compliance and advisory. This appointment will be critical in supporting the continued delivery of the firm’s specialist services and will also give someone a fantastic platform to build on their career.

- Automated client bookkeeping services
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Business modelling
- EIS/SEIS
- Company secretarial including share capital changes
- EMI
- R&D credits.
- Advising larger clients
- Client management of larger clients.
- Part of the senior management team.
- Coaching and developing team members.
- Projects and managing change.
- Revenue assurance.
Qualified accountant (Chartered Accountant or international equivalent)
Necessary skills
- Lead by example with client relationships, technical quality and service delivery.
- Strong motivation to develop and coach junior team members
- Demonstrate continuous self-development.
- Coaching and developing junior members of staff.
- Actively contribute to practice development expansion and thought leadership.

You must be able to demonstrate your experience in an accounting advisory function, including:
- Technical accounting experience with IFRS, UK GAAP and UK Companies Act and UK taxation.
- Sound judgement, including the ability to identify and evaluate risk issues and know when to involve others.
- Experience in leading teams and projects.
- Experience in leading and developing client relationships.
- Problem-solving attitude and proven ability to apply accounting concepts to unusual one-off situations.
- Proven track record on a personal or professional level for advocating for environmental and or social justice or a genuine recognition of the climate and ecological emergency
