Accountant

Pure are currently recruiting for an Accountant for an organisation based in Ely, hybrid working will be offered with this role. 

Reporting directly into the Head of Finance this role will work closely with the senior leadership team and colleagues to support with the smooth running of the finance function. This is a great opportunity if you are currently working as an Assistant but are ready to take the next step up in your career. 

The main responsibilities for this role are as follows - 

- Ensure all month end procedures are complete and produce monthly management information
- Produce the monthly balance sheet and cashflow
- Maintenance of the fixed asset register
- Assist the Head of Finance in ensuring that all financial reporting requirements are met. 
- Holding regular review meetings with the Head of Finance to discuss and review processes. 
- Assist the Head of Finance to manage the annual external audit. 

You must be comfortable working with senior stakeholders, you will have experience in the above duties and be able to manage your own workload. This position offers hybrid working which is 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
