2nd Line Support Engineer

We are partnered with a household UK manufacturing business based in Cambridge looking to hire an IT support engineer. This role will sit underneath the IT manager with a scope to build out a team in the future. The ideal candidate will have experience with ERP systems as this is a important part of the role. Furthermore, this role will include triaging basic support issues e.g., printers, laptops and phones alongside working on exciting projects alongside the R&D arm of the business. Personality wise, the candidate will need to be able to work autonomously and be able to solve problems through their own research.

Experience
- Knowledge of ERP systems - Dynamics 365 preferablly
- Experience creating solutions and specification documents
- Create business process maps
- Provide 1st/2nd line support to internal and remote users
- Good knowledge of windows, 0ffice 365 and Azure
- Liaise with their chosen MSP to support end users of the business onsite or remotely through hardware or software issues
- Be the first point of contact for the MSP providing as an onsite resource
- Assist with IT projects, implementations, and upgrades
- Manage and maintain servers and network equipment
- Document changes made to the system
