What did you do before joining Pure?
I studied business management at UEA. After that I worked in accounts for a few months.
How did you find out about the graduate programme?
I came across an advert on LinkedIn and got in contact with Ben, director of the Chelmsford office.
When did you join the programme?
On 25 October 2021.
Why did you choose a recruitment company for your graduate training?
After speaking with the team, I knew that the culture at Pure made it the perfect place for me to develop and refine my skills.
What was the interview and selection process like?
I had both a phone and face-to-face interview, which included various behavioural questions. At first it was a bit daunting, but during the process I felt super comfortable. Both interviews gave me a great chance to talk about my experience and learn about Pure.
When you joined, what type of training did you do?
I learned about various parts of the recruitment process. The training was carried out by the learning and development team, and it was incredibly thorough, informative and fun. In fact, so far there hasn’t been anything at work that it didn’t prepare me for.
What role are you now doing at Pure and what does it involve?
As of March 2022, I’m working in finance recruitment. Before that I was shadowing several of my colleagues to get some hands-on experience of our different specialisms.
What do you like most about working at Pure?
The warm culture here is amazing. There’s never been a time when I felt I couldn’t approach anyone for help or guidance.
What advice would you give to anyone thinking about joining the Pure graduate training programme?
