Are you ready for your next Talent Acquisition career opportunity?  We are working in partnership with our technology client who have offices based in Cambridge and The Netherlands.
They are looking to strengthen their HR team by appointing a stand alone Talent Acquisition Specialist who has experience in technical recruitment who will report to the Head of HR based in Cambridge and form part of the global HR team.
You will be a talented recruiter who enjoys all aspects of TA work including: 
  • Developing and updating recruitment policies and procedures.
  • Managing NL and UK employee recruitment campaigns, liaising with the wider HR Team, hiring managers and other stakeholders. 
  • Developing a preferred supplier list and managing that list, including building relationships with the agencies.
  • Introducing and / or developing cost-effective methods for the business to increase direct recruitment.
  • Carrying out job market research, providing information on current business trends and new market opportunities.
  • Managing and developing the recruitment information system
  • Developing and delivering training on the recruitment process and best practice for internal stakeholders.
  • Creating recruitment reports and providing weekly/monthly updates to the Head of HR and CFO.
  • Working with their Marketing & Communications Team and the Head of HR to raise the profile of the business as an employer both internally and externally.
      For each role -
  • working with the relevant HR Business Partner and hiring manager draft a job description, person specification and advertisement;
  • appoint agencies to source candidates and/or identify the best means of sourcing candidates directly (placing advertisements as appropriate);
  • agree the recruitment strategy with the HR Business Partner and hiring manager including
  • interview stages and types of interview;
  • tests to be done as part of the recruitment process
  • the type of offer to be made to the successful applicant.
  • liaise with the appropriate HR Business Partner if psychometric tests are required;
  • set-up interviews as appropriate and liaise with the hiring manager to ensure any technical tests are carried out;
  • arrange the preparation and sign-off of offer documents;
  • ensure signed offer documents are returned by the successful candidate and uploaded to the HRIS;
  • ensure appropriate background checks are taken and at the required level, validity and standard including right to work, references and, if necessary, security checks
  • guide the wider HR team, administrators, managers and appointees through the process for a smooth and successful onboarding.
  • delivering great candidate experience throughout the process
This role will give you the opportunity to take ownership of the recruitment function, modernizing it for the future and ensuring the business provides a great candidate experience.

The ideal person will have a track record in recruiting technical people across a wide range of technical roles, i.e software developers, IT and network engineers.
