We are delighted to be working with a leading not for profit organisation as they seek to recruit a Payroll Officer/Coordinator to join their team. Working closely between Finance, Payroll and HR, you will be a key member of the internal team. This role is being recruited on a part time basis, and you will be contracted for 22.5 hours per week. These hours will be ideally split across 5 days, but the pattern of the hours can vary each day. 

Within this position, you will be tasked with the following set of duties, including but not limited to:
- Preparing monthly payroll for submission to the organisation's Payroll Bureau
- Being the first point of contact for any payroll queries
- Checking and inputting timesheets
- Downloading and producing Payroll reports
- Collation and checking of any Payroll changes
- Additional ad hoc duties as required by your line manager

As the successful candidate, it is imperative that you have good knowledge of Payroll processing, and experience of working in a similar level Payroll position prior. Excellent communication skills are vital, given the duties of this position, and you will need to be organised in your approach to work. Other desirable attributes include:
- Strong systems knowledge
- Ability to recommend payroll process improvement
- Strong attention to detail

This role is based on the outskirts of Huntingdon, and offers a healthy holiday and benefits package, Please note the advertised salary is the full time equivalent amount and will be pro rata for the hours.
