Our client are a leading business within their field and are currently embarking on an exciting transformational journey.  To help support this period of change they are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their team.
Reporting to the Head of HR, the HR Advisor will work across a full HR generalist remit, providing customer focused and pragmatic HR advice and support to managers and employees in line with organisational policies, procedures and legal requirements.

The successful candidate will support the Head of HR in the development and maintenance of a high performance culture, provide hands on support across a range of core people processes as well as providing hands on advice and guidance to line managers and staff a range of HR related topics, such as absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievance and performance.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience in a generalist HR role and be CIPD qualified to level 5. Knowledge of employment law together with an awareness of commercial sensitivity is also important. A high level of IT literacy, including Microsoft Office packages is expected. Knowledge of HR specific software packages would be advantageous.

The role will require you to develop constructive and open relationships with a wide range of people therefore the ability to communicate in a clear, open and honest way is essential. Ideally we are looking for a positive and enthusiastic person, keen to learn and contribute, matched with the workplace skills and experience detailed above.
