Finance Manager

Pure are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager on behalf of a growing business based on the outskirts of Cambridge, this is a newly created role and an exciting time to join the business and support them to improve processes.
Reporting into the Finance and Operations Director this role will be responsible for 2 direct reports and will be producing management information, ensuring cashflows are maximised and working closely with the wider business to support them with achieving their objectives. The main duties are as follows -
- Management of purchase ledger and sales ledger functions
- Preparation of monthly management information including commentary
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Responsibility for the 12 week rolling cashflow
- Review of month end to shorten the MI turnaround
- Involvement in the budgeting process
- Liaison with the outsourced payroll bureau to ensure payroll is processed to deadlines.
- Review of internal finance processes and systems to maximise productivity.
This role is a great opportunity for somebody that is looking to move into a management role, or has previously managed a small team but wants to take on more day to day responsibility with the support of a strong mentor.
You must have a proven background in taking on the above mentioned duties and be confident to work with senior stakeholders on a day to day basis.
