We are delighted to be partnering with a market leading business based just west of Cambridge as they seek to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their team. This role is newly created and within the role, you will report into the Group Financial Controller. The company has a fantastic caring and supportive culture, and offers an opportunity to develop further. Within this role, you will be based mostly in the office with ad hoc flexibility to work from home.
Working within a team of 4, this role will play a key role within the team. As the Accounts Assistant, you will be tasked with the following set of responsibilities:
- Processing supplier invoices
- Overseeing the finance Inbox
- Raising customer invoices
- Assisting with month end duties
- Processing of employee expenses
- Additional ad hoc duties as per the full job description
As the successful candidate, you will display a keen attitude to learn and develop as well as having previous finance exposure, either through employment or through studying AAT or equivalent. You will also possess excellent communication and problem solving skills, good system knowledge and be organised in your approach to work. The team are friendly and approachable and are looking for someone to work in a similar way.
