This role sits within a rapidly growing privately owned business who are looking for a Marketing Manager to join their team and support with the delivery of their ambitious growth plans. They are looking to build a marketing function that will support the sales team to create new opportunities to strengthen relationships and to build a pipeline of quality leads. We are looking for somebody capable of developing the brand in the marketplace and ensure that the business has a strong on and offline presence and reputation.

This is a stand-alone position reporting into the Sales Director. The role and department will develop as the business continues to grow.

Key deliverables
• Create a marketing strategy and plan which is closely aligned to the business and sales strategy
• Develop a clear understanding of who the key and target customers are and the most effective channels to engage with them
• Deliver a clear vision for the brand, ensuring it meets business and customer needs
• Developing on existing brand guidelines and being the brand guardian
• Work closely with the sales team to provide a suite of collateral
• Create and deliver targeted multi channel campaigns to deliver quality lead generation
• Own the CRM, ensuring that the data is accurate and segmented appropriately
• Work closely with external marketing agencies to develop both off line and the digital offering and improve online visibility
• Create engaging content including case studies and a monthly client newsletter
• Exploring PR opportunities
• Provide regular reporting to the Board

Key skills required -
• Multi channel marketing experience gained in a B2B environment
• Commercially focused marketer who has experience of working closely with sales to deliver high quality leads
• Track record creating and delivering a marketing plan and strategy
• Experience in developing a strong brand identity
• Comfortable working with CRM systems and developing a strong and well segmented database

Personal attributes
• Comfortable with working in a stand alone role and has the ability to self motivate
• Great communication skills and the ability to work closely with the business to really understand the market and customer base
• Confident working with data, using this to develop and improve marketing activity along with providing meaningful reports to the Board to demonstrate the impact of marketing activity and spend
• Creative and solutions driven
