An HR & Office Administrator is required to work on a 12 month contract basis for a fantastic Biotechnology company based in Central Cambridge.
Job Purpose: To provide general HR & Office administration assistance to the company, taking the lead on a number of varied and important actives.

Job Purpose

Recruitment & HR Support
• Control list of opening positions authorised by the CEO/board
• Job Description & Job advertisement agreed with line manager
• Supplier relations with job advertisers & recruitment consultants
• Job offers, draft contracts and employment checks ( employment consultancy, pension, letter, share option pack, payroll new starter forms, right to work in the UK)
• Start day admin: welcome packs, orientation, HR / Finance meeting, IT set up
• System management: breathe HR, Xero payroll, smart pensions, receipt bank
• Managed process of probation reviews and annual performance appraisals

Office Management
• Receptionist duties
• Office facility management
• Meeting room bookings
• Post opening and distribution
• General admin support to team
• Setting up go to meetings for the team
• Birthday gifts for all staff

Finance Support
• Employee expense support on receipt bank
• Credit Card reconciliation
• Invoice logging and approval
• Office supplier management & ordering

Skills required
• HR Qualification is desirable alongside proven experience with HR & general office administration
• An excellent communicator
• Skilled at rapport & relationship building
• Able to work under pressure
• Trustworthy & aware of the need of confidentiality
• Experienced in using MS word, outlook, powerpoint, excel
