Currently recruiting for a full time bookkeeper for a small but growing business based North Cambridge.
The main role of the Bookkeeper will be posting online bank payments and monitoring approvals, reconciling the bank account, matching invoices to purchase and sales ledger and resolving any supplier queries. The successful candidate will also be entering journals and processing expenses, VAT returns quarterly or monthly and month end duties including bringing the accounts up to trial balance supported with aged debtor and creditor analysis. This role will also assist with preparation of management accounts.
You will ideally be in a similar role and be confident working independently. It is essential you have previous with Xero or Sage 50 experience and a confident on Excel. As you will be managing a small portfolio of clients you will need to have excellent communication skills and good telephone manner.
The client is based on the outskirts of Cambridge and is easily accessible from Central Cambridge, Royston, South Cambridge, Cambourne and St Ives.
