A busy and established client in Chelmsford are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their finance department.
Working hours are 9-5 Monday to Friday and they have a generous holiday scheme.
• Processing purchase ledger invoices by scanning to system, checking and monitoring
• Adhoc payments when required
• Dealing with queries
• Weekly payment runs
• Chasing payments
• Looking after any aged debt and running reports
• Reconciling ledgers
• Handling sales ledger invoices
• Must have prior experience working within an accounts role
• High attention to detail
• Previous use of an accountancy system
• Good Excel skills
• Good communicator and team player
• Must be QBE or studying AAT would be an advantage
