Alison Hall

Managing Consultant

Alison joined Pure in 2006 to set up the office support division having started her recruitment career in 1996 recruiting temporary office staff. Alison prides herself on her high level of customer service and on forming long-term client partnerships and is responsible for temporary/contract office support roles.

Amy Perks

Managing Consultant

Amy has been working in recruitment since 2009, covering Finance and Legal sectors, before joining Pure in April 2015. Amy is responsible for senior accountancy interim and permanent roles.

Andrea West

Recruitment Consultant

Andrea joined Pure in January 2018 after relocating from London where she was previously working in recruitment. Andrea has 6 years of recruitment experience across a wide range of sectors and has joined Pure to work as part of the office support team.

Andy Dowsett

Senior Managing Consultant

Having joined Pure in 2015, Andy works with clients and candidates within our Accountancy specialism, recruiting for Qualified Accountancy roles, specialising in the recruitment of CFO’s, Finance Directors and Financial Controllers. His experience and knowledge combined with his focus on partnership with client and candidate ensure he delivers an excellent level of service.

Annette Wyld

Head of Finance

Annette joined Pure in 2006 to establish the Finance department and now leads the team with responsibility for all aspects of financial control and reporting at Pure. Annette is a CIMA qualified accountant and has over 20 years’ finance experience with extensive knowledge in the recruitment and employment industry.

April Gotts

Senior Compliance and Quality Assistant

April started working at Pure Norwich in March 2011, having previously worked in the hospitality industry. April works as Senior Administrator supporting the Norwich office and companywide responsibilities including compliance.

Becky Wilson

Senior Managing Consultant

A graduate in Business Economics, Becky has over 20 year’s recruitment experience. Having joined Pure in 2010, Becky specialises in recruiting HR professionals at all levels from Advisory, Business Partners to Directors across the Norfolk region. Becky also co-founded the specialist HR group HR Energy which provides networking and training opportunities for HR professionals.

Ben Farrow

Director

Ben graduated from Lancaster University in 2002 with a 2.1 in Advertising and Marketing.Ben joined Pure in 2011 and has been key in the growth and development of our business in Essex.Ben leads on HR recruitment across the Essex area, working with professionals at all levels within, HR, OD, L&D and talent management.

Ben Lurton

Senior Recruitment Consultant

Ben commenced his career in recruitment in 2007 and gained expertise within both permanent and interim recruitment for key roles within a variety of businesses and sectors within both the East Anglia and London Markets. Ben has been specialising in procurement for a number of years and has made placements with a range of high profile businesses such as Sony Europe, Williams F1, and Eurostar .

Bethany Lewis

Recruitment Administrator

Previously, in 2016, Bethany worked in Retail as a Personal Shopper whilst studying English Language and Psychology. Bethany then gained more experience in dealing with customers with a company who provided hotel accommodation in 2018 before joining Pure.

Caroline Batchelor

Director

Caroline joined Pure in 2002 at the beginning of our journey. As Director, Caroline is co-manager of the Cambridge office as well as leading the Human Resources team. A graduate from Manchester University, Caroline started her recruitment career in 1999 within the HR, Professional Office Support and the Accountancy sectors.

Caroline Meeson

Senior Recruitment Consultant

Caroline is responsible for temporary Finance recruitment and joined Pure in 2009. Prior to this, Caroline recruited for commercial and public service businesses across East Anglia, focussing on interim recruitment within Office support.

Charlotte Lennie

Recruitment Administrator

Charlotte joined Pure in January 2020. This is her first role in recruitment and she looking forward to venturing into a different career path. Previous to joining pure, for the last 3 years she was working in a residential care home looking after the elderly. Charlotte specialises in administrative support for the Cambridge office.

Claire Bush

Senior Recruitment Consultant

Claire joined Pure in 2011 working within the Office Support division. With extensive consultancy experience within the office support market, Claire has been recruiting successfully for a diverse mix of clients in Norwich. Before joining Pure, she spent over 12 years working for two prestigious consultancies in London.

Claire Oakley

Recruitment Consultant

Claire began her career in recruitment in 2017 following 8 months of travelling and 5 years working in the hospitality industry. Claire joined the Chelmsford team in 2019 to recruit for temporary and contract transactional accountancy roles for the whole of Essex. She enjoys building lasting relationships with candidates and clients.

Daniel De Pontes

Recruitment Consultant

Daniel moved to the UK from South Africa in 2018. He began his recruitment career as a Resourcer for Software Developers and Testers in Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge. He achieved promotion and specialised in recruitment for Microsoft Stack companies. Daniel enjoys working in recruitment as he loves the mix of helping people achieve their aspirations, reducing a business’s time and cost to hire and supporting employee retention.

Daniel Cordy

Recruitment Consultant

Daniel joined Pure in February 2020. With a background in recruitment spanning over 6 years, Daniel has had experience in working in a few specialisms which include Mechanical & Electrical Design Engineering through to Estate Agency. Previous to this, he worked for Halifax for over 7 years. Daniel specialises in recruiting IT roles within our Norwich office.

Danielle Evans

HR, Learning and Development Administrator

Dani joined Pure in 2008 as an administrator to support the rapidly growing Cambridge office. In 2015, Dani joined the HR team and now supports the learning and development of our team at Pure.

David Culley

Director

David joined the recruitment industry in 1999 following graduation with an Honours degree in Occupational Psychology. He joined Pure in 2003. He has oversight of the Cambridge operation as well as delivering a number of value-added seminars and steering groups within the Charity and Not For Profit sectors. David also leads Executive recruitment in these sectors. David also chairs a Cambridgeshire charity.

Denise Randall

Senior Recruitment Consultant

Denise joined Pure's Executive team in October 2019. Denise has a background in sales and recruitment working on opportunities within: financial, sales, and legal; recruiting across Essex, London and more recently international opportunities.

Ella Herman

Recruitment Administrator

Having relocated back to Cambridge after spending 10 years in Canada, Ella works in our Cambridge office as a Recruitment Administrator supporting the Finance team.

Ellie Steinfeldt

Learning and Development Advisor

Ellie joined Pure in June 2015 after applying through our Graduate Training Programme and now works in the internal Learning & Development team. Ellie has a Psychology degree and her passion for working with and understanding people led her to a career in recruitment.

Emily Colby

Recruitment Consultant

Emily began her recruitment journey in 2017. She started working for a global recruitment agency specialising in commercial recruitment for both temporary and permanent roles. Emily joined Pure in November 2019 to work in the Professional Office division and is excited about what is to come! Emily enjoys building long term relationships with both clients and candidates.

Fiona Cooper

Senior Recruitment Consultant

Fiona joined the Pure team in 2015 as a Recruitment Resourcer before shortly moving on to become a consultant. After working within HR & Office, Fiona joined Accountancy and Finance and now looks after permanent Finance roles in Suffolk and North Essex.

Gemma started her career in recruitment in 2014 initially working as a Resourcer, progressing to a Consultant in 2015. Gemma joined the Ipswich team in 2018 as a Recruitment Consultant and recruits Office Support, Financial Services and Marketing roles up to £25,000pa across Suffolk.

Gemma Pluck

Managing Consultant

Gemma started her recruitment career in March 2014 and joined the accountancy team in Cambridge. Gemma began her career in recruitment as a resourcer, quickly progressing to managing her own portfolio of clients.

Gill Buchanan

Chief Operating Officer

Gill is a founding Director of Pure and has worked in recruitment since 1988, including eight years of specialist recruitment experience within an international specialist recruitment company and five years working within financial services recruitment in Sydney, Australia. Gill’s approach is to provide clients and candidates with the highest quality of service. She has a consultative style which has led to her building long-term relationships with both clients and candidates.

Hannah Flindall

Senior Managing Consultant

Joining Pure in 2013, Hannah has extensive knowledge of the Essex market and is extremely well networked within the area. Working in recruitment since 2001, Hannah specialises in part qualified and qualified accountancy within the interim market.

Hannah Phippen

Recruitment Administrator

Hannah joined Pure in January 2020, prior to this she was working at Trinity Legal Services LTD, as an Office Administrator. Alongside her role, Hannah was completing her level 3 Business Administration and Customer Service course at City College Norwich. Hannah supports the Norwich office as a Recruitment Administrator.

Heather Saxby

Recruitment Consultant

Heather joined Pure in 2018 as Recruitment Resourcer for the internal office and accountancy team at our Chelmsford Office. In her first year Heather has quickly established herself, making a positive impact on the Chelmsford team and as a result, has been promoted to Recruitment Consultant specialising in HR.

Helena Smith

Senior Recruitment Consultant

Helena began her recruitment career in 2011 and focusses on building lasting relationships with quality focussed results. With 8 years’ experience successfully sourcing and placing IT & Technology candidates, Helena joined the team at Pure to help establish the Tech division in Chelmsford.

Ian Walters

CEO

A founder member of Pure, Ian has worked in specialist recruitment since 1990, initially for a national recruitment firm growing their Accountancy recruitment business and then their Public Sector Executive recruitment brand. Alongside running Pure he has advised on the following types of appointments: CFO & FD roles, Partner appointments for Mid-Tier and Regional firms, and CEO/MD roles for privately owned firms.

Jamie Durham

Recruitment Consultant

Jamie joined Pure in July 2018 as a Graduate Trainee Recruitment Consultant. Prior to this, he spent 3 years studying Economics at the University of East Anglia, achieving a 2:1 in his studies.

Jenny Barrett

Senior Recruitment Consultant

Jenny started her career in recruitment in September 2013 focussing on interim IT placements. With over 5 years of experience within the interim IT sector, Jenny joined Pure in February 2018 as an addition to the Tech team focussing on the interim market. Jenny covers placements within technology on a contract, fixed term contract and temporary basis within Cambridgeshire.

Jessica Shepherdson

Recruitment Consultant

Jessica joined Pure in June 2018 due to team expansion within our Accountancy and Finance division. Recruiting across Norfolk area, Jessica currently specialises in senior transactional and part-qualified accountancy positions, including Payroll. Before joining Pure, Jessica recruited across East Anglia for 3+ years’ focusing on Finance and Education sectors.

Joanna Bromwich

Learning and Development Advisor

Joanna started recruiting within the Cambridgeshire area in 2009 for a broad range of private and public sector clients and during her time with Pure. She is currently responsible for recruiting temporary finance professionals, across Cambridgeshire.

Jodie Comley

Recruitment Consultant

Jodie joined Pure January 2020 when she relocated from Reading to Colchester. She started her first recruitment role in January 2018 in Pharmaceuticals. Following this, she moved on to run a national Software development desk for just over 6 months. Jodie specialises in recruiting IT roles for our Chelmsford office.

Jodie Woodrow

Business Director

Jodie started her recruitment career in 2000. She joined Pure in 2005 to launch their Suffolk operation as co-Manager of the Ipswich office. She is currently utilising her experience and relationships to develop the Ipswich office’s Executive and Senior Finance division.

Joseph O'Sullivan

Senior Manager

Joseph has over 30 year’s specialist recruitment experience. Joseph joined Pure in March 2005 and specialises recruiting Interim and Permanent Finance Directors, Controllers, Heads of Finance and other senior management, board and executive appointments.

Judith Pugh

Marketing and Communications Manager

Judith joined Pure in October 2017 to lead and coordinate all marketing activities. Judith has worked in marketing roles for 19 years across a range of industries from health and fitness, horticulture, software, education and now recruitment. At Pure, Judith is responsible for developing and managing the annual marketing plan and delivering key initiatives.

Kate Rock

Recruitment Administrator

Kate began working for Pure in July 2019 and has experience working in a number of industries from Agriculture to Medical. Kate works in the Chelmsford office providing solid administration support to the team.

Katherine Bell

Learning and Development Advisor

Katherine joined the office support team in 2008 recruiting permanent Office Support roles before moving to support with HR recruitment. Kath now works in the Pure Learning and Development team delivering high-quality training to new starters joining the company, as well as existing teams.

Katie Steinfeldt

Katie completed her Business Management degree in June 2018 and now works in our Norwich office as a Recruitment Consultant recruiting Marketing and Office roles across Norfolk.

Keeley Furbank

Recruitment Consultant

Keeley started her recruitment career in 2012 and has spent the last past 5 years as a specialist Finance recruiter, placing finance professionals into creative industries.

Kelly Earl

Managing Consultant

Kelly joined Pure in 2007, after two years at a specialist national recruitment agency. Kelly set up the Pure Marketing division in 2013 and specialises in interim and permanent roles at Manager level and above, spanning on and offline marketing, communications, specialist digital, product and brand management, across the region.

Kelly Rooks

Finance Manager

Kelly joined Pure in 2019 as the Finance Manager. She started her career in 1991 and has worked within the finance industry for over 28 years. Kelly manages the Finance team and is responsible for the Management Accounts.

Kieran Sprouse

IT Support Assistant

Kieran holds a level 3 I.C.T B tech and has several years experience working in the IT industry. Kieran joined Pure in March 2018 to provide regional IT support across our four offices.

Laura Piazza

Accounts Assistant

After obtaining her Masters in Psychology in 2014, Laura moved to the UK to study her AAT. Laura joined Pure in May 2018 as an Accounts Assistant to provide support across the four offices.

Laurie Smith

Recruitment Consultant

Laurie has worked in recruitment for the past 5 years, covering both temporary and permanent roles within office support. Prior to this, she worked as a Practice Manager within the private health care sector, following on from a long period in Retail Management for the Arcadia Group. Laurie joined Pure in January 2020 and recruits Office Support roles within our Ipswich office.

Lewis Hamber

Recruitment Resourcer

Lewis joined Pure in April 2018 as a Trainee Consultant following a spell as an IT Resourcer specialising in Development and Testing. Lewis now supports the wider Technology Division with candidate generation and with developing strong and lasting relationships with both clients and candidates.

Lily O'Carroll

Recruitment Administrator

Lily studied Business, Sociology and English Language at A Level. Before joining Pure, she worked as a shop assistant and administrator. Lily joined Pure in December 2019 to support our Ipswich office.

Lucy Plumb

Senior Executive Assistant

Lucy joined Pure Executive in 2014 to support the Executive Recruitment team with research and administration of Executive and Board level appointments, as well as facilitating and organising events.

Lynn Walters

Executive Director

Lynn is a founding Director of Pure and leads Pure Executive with over 25 years recruiting for Executive appointments. Lynn supports East of England-based businesses with senior management and Board level recruitment. Lynn leads the Best Employer Eastern Region Initiative and the Women In Leadership Programme both of which are aimed at helping companies and people to develop.

Mark Colton

Senior Recruitment Consultant

Mark began his career in recruitment in 1998, working for a national specialist accountancy recruitment firm. Mark has a wealth of experience in recruiting a wide range of clients in the Cambridge area.

Mark Wishart

Managing Consultant

Mark started his recruitment career in 2002. Mark joined the Pure team in Cambridge to specialise in permanent finance recruitment. He joined Pure because of their reputation of offering an honest professional service in the market place.

Matilda Pilkington

Recruitment and Marketing Administrator

A recent Ancient History graduate from the University of Kent, Matilda joined Pure in 2018 to support the Norwich HR & Office division as a Recruitment Resourcer. In 2020, Matilda joined our marketing team as Marketing Administrator.

Miranda Quazi

Senior Consultant

Miranda began her career in Customer Care with John Lewis in 2007 whilst studying for her A Levels. Miranda joined Pure in 2012 as part of the Accounts team, she now recruits HR clerical roles in Cambridgeshire.

Nancy Chizarura

Accounts Assistant

Nancy started a career in Accounting in 2017 working as Accounts Administrator. Nancy joined Pure in January 2018 to work as an Accounts Assistant and is also working towards her AAT qualification. Nancy is responsible for supporting the accounts team with Credit Control, Sales Ledger, and Purchase Ledger.

Nadia Mullins-Hills

IT & Projects Manager

Nadia has been with Pure since 2006 after completing her A Levels.  During her time at Pure, Nadia has developed the IT infrastructure and operations for Pure, managing our website and client and candidate experience

Natalia Kina

Senior Accounts Assistant

Natalia joined Pure in 2015. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Marine Policy and a Bachelor’s degree in Science of Economics. Natalia is responsible for the Credit Control of our Norwich and Ipswich offices.

Neri Preidziute

Accounts Assistant - Payroll

Neri graduated from a Lithuanian University with a degree in Business studies in 2016. She joined Pure as an Accounts Assistant in 2018.

Nick Culley

Senior Managing Consultant

Nick’s recruitment career began in 1998 and he now has over 20 years experience of working within the Cambridgeshire accountancy market. Nick has built up an extensive network of clients and candidates in the Cambridge area and has an in-depth knowledge of the Cambridge business community. Nick has been involved in running our Finance Leadership Programme, has presented at several Director level seminars and is responsible for senior accountancy recruitment.

Paul Sheldrake

Business Director

Paul is a co-founder of the Ipswich office of Pure, has worked for the business for over 12 years and recruits in the HR market in Suffolk and North Essex. A graduate of Nottingham Business School, Paul has worked in the East Anglia recruitments market for nearly 20 years. As well as specialising in HR recruitment, Paul manages the Ipswich office and is a Business Director for Pure.

Rachel Thorogood

Recruitment Consultant

Rachel started her career in Recruitment in June 2015, after graduating with a 2:1 in Psychology from Brunel University. Having previously recruited across a number of specialisms for a variety of industries throughout the UK, Rachel now specialises in permanent transactional accountancy roles at Pure for the whole of Essex.

Rebecca Adamson

Recruitment Resourcer

Rebecca began her career in recruitment in 2018, having previously worked in sales and customer services roles. She was recruiting for IT support in the Suffolk & Essex markets before joining Pure in 2019. In her time as a consultant, she took a shine to resourcing for candidates and loves the process of building relationships with them, and is utilising this fully in her role as a resourcer for the Norwich office.

Rebecca Garratty

Rebecca has a solid career history in Sales and Customer service beginning with working for a national retailer in 2007 within their Trainee Management Programme. Rebecca has 4 years of Recruitment experience and joined Pure in 2019 to recruit Finance vacancies across Cambridgeshire.

Ruben Davis

Senior Recruitment Consultant

Ruben recruits IT and technical support roles in Norwich. Ruben graduated from University of East Anglia in November 2014 with a degree in Business Management. Prior to joining Pure in October 2016, he worked as an IT Recruiter, specialising in Software Development and testing.

Ryan Marriott

Recruitment Consultant

Ryan has worked in recruitment since 2016 recruiting temporary workers in the NHS and Local Authorities. Ryan has joined Pure to take on a new challenge within our Technology division.

Scott Woodrow

Director

Scott is a Director at Pure. He joined Pure in 2004. Having specialised in senior finance recruitment for a number of years, Scott now leads the Technology, Marketing and Digital recruitment division, and recruits senior management and Board level IT appointments in the East of England.

Shannon Fox

Recruitment Consultant

Shannon joined Pure in August 2019 to specialise in recruiting for marketing opportunities around the East Cambridgeshire and West Suffolk area.

Sophie Nicoll

Recruitment Resourcer

Sophie joined Pure in 2018 after working for a Cambridge based Apprenticeship business. Sophie joined Pure after hearing great things about the company’s reputation from other companies.

Tom Aldis

Recruitment Consultant

Tom completed his BSc in Sociology in 2013 and started in recruitment in 2016, recently he has recruited for Technical Automotive Engineers. Tom now recruits IT and Technical Support roles across Essex, based in Chelmsford. He enjoys developing relationships with candidates and clients.

Tom Blake

Senior Recruitment Consultant

Tom believes in building open relationships and taking the time to understand individual recruitment needs. Tom has been working in the recruitment industry since 2006, and joined the Ipswich team in 2013. He specialises in temporary Accountancy recruitment across Suffolk & Essex.

Tom Earl

Director

A Director, Tom joined Pure in April 2007 initially joining the team in Suffolk and has been instrumental in establishing Pure in the Essex market. Today Tom takes a lead role in the development of the Norwich office and Pure Executive. www.pureexecutive.com

Viktoriya joined Pure in 2015 in the Cambridge Office Support team. Viktoriya started her career in recruitment in 2011 following successful completion of a Law Degree.

Kirsty Wilson

Kirsty started working in recruitment in 2017, following 3 months of travelling and after previously working in events and account management; she immediately fell in love with the role. Kirsty joined the Chelmsford Pure office in March 2020 and specialises in permanent office support roles.
