A workforce planning and development Manager is required to work for a public sector business located in Fulbourn. Part time 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

Workforce strategy

• To support the associate director in the delivery and implementation if of the trusts workforce strategy that reflects the strategic direction of the business
• To lead and develop the specific workforce development components of the workforces strategy ensure project plans and actions are in place and supported
Workforce planning and development
• Develop and maintain a robust wide workforce plan that takes into account and will support and delivery of divisional business plans
• Take a lead role in ensuring information systems and processes are in place to support workforce planning and workforce information
• Be responsible for the development and delivery of key workforce performance reports to senior management and associate director
• Carry out analysis on all aspects of workforce data as required identifying patterns, trends and areas of focus for the business.
• Oversee and coordinate the trusts compliance for workforce issues in relation to national standards provided by CQC or other statutory bodies
• To train and develop your staff and to carry out at least annually an appraisal
• Design, develop and implement HR related training and development programmes

Skills required
• Experience working strategically and working with managers , teams and directors
• Significant experience of workforce planning
• Ability to problem solve complex problems trough analytical and structured thought process
• Ability to challenge decisions
• Excellent leadership skills
• Strong IT skills, competent user of Microsoft packages and databases
