Salary£23000 - £28000 per annum
A business based West of Cambridge currently seek a temporary Project Accounts Clerk to assist them on a temporary basis - this role is initially for 3 months and will assist the Project Accountant with day to day finance tasks related to different projects.

The main duties of the role will be as follows:

• New project setup, maintenance of existing projects and project closures on our ERP system
• Management of project queries, providing timely and accurate responses
• Responsibility of credit control, working closely with the Senior Project Accountant to ensure debts are being collected in an effective and time efficient manner and involving the business for assistance as required
• Reporting on credit control process to convey business information in a timely fashion
• Weekly intercompany invoicing of all hours worked and expenses incurred on intercompany projects
• Ensuring all bank receipts (UK & US) are posted on a daily basis
• Provide cover for Project Accountant on an ad-hoc basis as and when required

Experience & Skills required
• Achieved AAT or equivalent by experience
• Ready and able to exercise initiative
• A willingness to learn
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks effectively
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel.
• Problem-solving ability
