A highly exciting newly created role with a niche sector tech business based in Mid Suffolk.
Having gone through a period of continued growth and success this leading SAAS business supply specialist applications to business and organisations across the world.
The position will a mix of technical and commercial with exposure across the business.
You will need to still be "in the code" but with a view to developing and building a dev. team around you, and moving into a senior management post in the future at ITD/CTO level.

Duties will include:

• Manage software development team to deliver functional software within specified development plans for the programme.
• Plan and define the allocation of tasks to the development team to meet development milestones set following the Agile methodology and act as a Scrum Master, working closely with the Product Managers.
• Work with the Product Managers to manage user requirements, change controls and other system amendments
• Provide updates and progress to Senior Management
• Ensure early identification of potential problems in the delivery cycle and feed this back to senior management.
• Experience of working closely with the customer, gathering requirements, defining project deliverables, providing management information and managing a team to deliver.
• Facilitate and manage the required meetings between product owners, SMTs, and the Dev team.
• Identify resource requirements based on expected priorities, based on the Product Backlog.
• Have a hands-on, methodical approach to manage risks and issues effectively with timely escalation to higher management
• Ensure production and delivery of high quality code built on proper and robust architecture
• Be able to work on own initiative, be self-motivated, take on responsibility for solution delivery, be able to work under pressure and be able to multi-task.

We are looking for the following skills:

• .Net Framework (C#/VB/MVC)
• Microsoft SQL Server
• AngularJS, JavaScript, JQuery
• Kubernetes (exp. not required but desire to learn)
• Experience involving client services, agency or SAAS
• Used to working across SDLC with a hands on approach
• Experience working with product or project management advantageous
• Agile experience
• Ensure production and delivery of high quality code built on proper and robust architecture

This position could be based in Suffolk at the companies head offices or indeed anywhere is East Anglia with a requirement to be able to visit Suffolk occasionally with the remainder working from home!
