The main aim of the role is to partner with 3 key functional areas and to take ownership of the HR agenda and work with the leadership team. Although a senior role this position required someone with a strong mix of strategic and operational experience as it will be looking after key HR elements such as ER, Training and development, succession planning, talent mapping and recruitment from top to bottom.
The organisation are looking for a proven HR professional with significant and proven experience working at a Business Partner level or above for a large commercial organisation. Someone who has strong emotional intelligence, excellent stakeholder management and someone who is able to balance a multitude of priorities. For the right candidate this role could be the pathway to an HR Director opportunity in the future.
Key responsibilities at a high level will include;
• Employee engagement
• Compensation and benefits review
• Manage the performance and development process
• Training analysis
• Strategic guidance on recruitment
• Providing guidance on organisational change
• Management and some delivery of high quality training
• Overseeing and advising on employee relations
Key Skills and experience required;
You will be ideally of graduate calibre, a chartered member of the CIPD and have strong experience of working at a Senior Business Partner level within a large complex commercial organisation. A strong up to date knowledge of UK employment law is also essential.
