Reporting initially to the Head of Finance, the postholder will be responsible for reviewing and documenting the processes and internal controls for the various subsidiary companies located across the world and for the assessment of risk relating to all financial, legal and HR policies and procedures with the aim of addressing and mitigating any areas of concern.
You will be expected to provide sound financial and commercial advice to budget holders and managers along with the regular review of budgets and forecasts, investigating and reporting any significant variances to plan. You will also provide tax advice relating to local and international issues and will assist where necessary with the preparation and review of the statutory accounts and the monthly management accounts.
Interested? You will be a fully qualified accountant with a strong background in financial reporting and with a commercial outlook. You will need to demonstrate a proven track record in improving efficiency within a complex international organisation. Excellent MS Office skills are essential as is self motivation and the ability to work unsupervised. A willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis is also necessary.
