Recruitment and HR Assistant

An excellent opportunity has arisen to work with a large commercial business based at their offices in Braintree, working as part of a great HR team, this will be a busy and varied role focusing on all aspects of recruitment as well
as providing administrative and project support to the HR team.

Duties and responsibilities will include;

• Taking the lead on recruitment from posting job adverts through to making offers
• Interviewing both face to face and over the phone
• Generating contracts, offers, leaver letters, change to terms (HR and Payroll)
• Maintaining electronic and manual filing; creating employee profiles on HR systems
• Providing support to the UK HR Manager and HRBP
• Allocate annual leave and sickness entitlements to HR system, for current year
• Logging sickness and absence
• Updating employee changes; salary, terms and conditions
• Producing various reports
• Management of the HR inbox
• Requesting DBS, financial information and references (current and previous employees)
• General administrative tasks and office duties

The HR team are looking for someone who has proven experience in an HR team, who has experience of recruiting and who is available to start at short notice.
