I am working with an exciting public sector body who support the local community in a variety of ways.

A forward thinking business they try to blend the commercial expertise of a private sector business with the heart of the public sector.

You will be responsible for -

•Looking after current purchasing arrangements with key suppliers

•Ensure supply chain is robust and ethical

•Understand internal procurement processes and adopt the companies approach

•Review OJEU compliance and make recommendations to improve overall compliance

Key skills required -

•Purchasing experience in a service based organisation

•Knowledge of purchasing under OJEU regulations

•Have worked in a public sector business

•Able to work with a range of stakeholders

•Strong negotiating skills
