A charity based in St Ives are currently looking for someone to come on board and assist them on a temporary to permanent basis within their payroll function. There will be a solid handover between the current person and the new employee in the office however longer term this position will be split between office and home working. The successful candidate will be the sole payroll person within the business.

The company have around 170 employees and the payroll will be done monthly.
The business use Sage Payroll to process their payroll.
The employee must ensure the payroll complies with HMRC/payroll compliance
Inputting payroll data and running the monthly payroll
Inputting of new starters and leavers
Running month end reports, p11d's, p45's, p60's and other necessary HMRC requirements
Flagging any queries and issues with Management as and when required
Liaising with people team and finance team about payroll information
Assisting with any system /payroll process improvement

This role would suit someone with strong payroll experience who has ideally worked in an SME previously.
