This role will directly support they payroll team leader with the efficient processing of weekly payroll. The successful candidate will have previous finance background and have excellent attention to detail.
Day to day duties are as follows;
-Prepare and run the weekly payroll including timesheet reconciliation and manual payroll processing accurate and timely payments
-Processing of payroll documentation to ensure that payroll records are kept up to date
-Automatic Enrolment (Pension) assist with compliance checks and processing of pension contributions including submission of payment to pension provider
-RTI review all payroll data to ensure full compliance for each weekly payroll and submission of reports to HMRC
-Sales Order Processing generate sales invoices to be issued as per the timesheets processed in the weekly payroll
-Payroll mailbox assist with payroll queries and requests. Prioritise appropriately and escalate any issues within required deadlines to the Payroll Team Leader
Produce weekly payroll reporting including temp fees and AWR tracker
-AWR qualifying period monitor the status of all temporary workers and apply parity within the payroll
-RDB Exports run exports between databases to update placement, payroll and timesheet records
Good time management and remaining calm under pressure is essential with this role. Excellent telephone manner and a professional approach is important when dealing with issues or questions regarding timesheets. This role works within a buzzy finance team who work hard together to get the job done. The current accountancy package is pegasus opera 3 any previous experience using this would be an advantage.
