Based on a 6-9 month Fixed Term Contract, this role will involve the following tasks:
Working with a talented team and leading a team up to 3 staff members, oversee the accurate and timely delivery of pension services including; customer query handling, retirement applications, processing pension quotes for various leaver types, pension switches, opt outs, 3 yearly auto enrolments
Ensure the Pensions Team are providing the pension administrators with accurate and timely information
Ensure pension data errors are resolved accurately and interfaced correctly to pay/pension systems.
Ensure pensionable pay calculations are accurate in response to pension data requests and resolution of errors. Calculations are far reaching and include; pensions contributions for missing pension service, Widower Pension Scheme (WPS) refunds, shortfall/arrears in added years and added pensions contributions, over/underpayments of pension contributions.
Producing quarterly reports on service delivery
Lead on the delivery of pension change requests and Employer Pension Notices
Positively engage in pension networking opportunities and keep abreast with pension updates
Review current processes and identify areas of improvement
The successful candidate will posses the following skills:
Experience within a high volume payroll capacity including experience with pensions
Demonstrate experience of strong, supportive people management skills and ability to meet expected standards and behaviours
Ability to share, build and consolidate knowledge in a team-based setting to achieve best performance
Able to work effectively under pressure
Strong problem solving skills.
