I am currently recruiting a Marketing and Events Executive to join a growing E-Commerce SME. This contract is to support the Client Manager during their busy events season, you will need to be comfortable getting involved at levels, from managing bookings through to setting up processes to support lead generation, while producing necessary marketing collateral.

The right candidate will be responsible for all marketing associated events and breakfast mornings. The successful candidate will need proven event and marketing experience and be able to work with a range of teams internally as well as liaise with external suppliers and agencies.

Profile;

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Organise and attend relevant account events, following up all leads gathered
  • Support new business, produce client briefs and marketing collateral
  • Create and deliver marketing material for multiple lead generation events
  • Keep the content of the Company's website up to date and relevant
  • Identify PR / Event opportunities and to action those deemed valuable for the Company's brand and reputational development
  • To support existing accounts, develop relationships with business partners and identify and develop opportunities with new partners
  • To support the Client Manager in delivering client marcomms activities, by providing expert advice on marketing strategies and tactical activity as required
  • Manage events marketing campaigns from conception through to completion for each event, using the full marketing mix
  • Working with designers to create event marketing assets
  • Creation of all marketing collateral including copywriting and liaising with design
  • Updating key stakeholders on events marketing activity on a regular basis
  • Tracking and reporting of marketing campaign and lead generation activity

  • Excellent Organisation and time management
  • Events, sales and marketing best practice / knowledge of current tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communications.
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with people at all levels across the business
  • Proactive attitude and able to identify new opportunities
