Pure are recruiting a Team Manager of Operations for a well established and thriving organisation within the Financial Services sector based in Ipswich town centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a service team within the Operations Department. The successful candidate will motivate employees to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and meet the expected quality levels.

Duties include:

•Managing the team in line with company policies and procedures
•Overseeing the day to day activity of the team ensuring targets and company standards are met
•Reviewing team output ensuring company quality standards are met and customers are receiving excellent service at all times
•Ensuring the team works to all compliance procedures put into place and that training is updated within given timeframes
•Organising regular review meetings with team members agreeing individual objectives
•Identifying any areas of improvement, and implementing better working practices
•Using technical knowledge to investigate issues escalated by the team
•Managing the team in accordance with company policies and procedures ensuring company objectives are being met at all times

Skills required :
•5 GCSE's at grades A-C (or equivalent) to include English and Maths is essential
•Understanding of the pensions market and the regulations involved
•Knowledge of all operational functions and processes and how they can be affected by internal and external factors
•Ability to plan your own and your team's workload
•Experience within a similar role is essential
