Information Governance Specialist - remote work possibleReference: J49402
Due to the on-going changes within the new digital age, the business are looking for an Information Governance Specialist to lead the development and management of their Information Security Governance Framework, including maintenance of information security management systems and IT service management systems.
The role can be based remotely however travel will be required to key offices within Essex and London.
o Identify, assess and manage all key information security risks across the business - including products, solutions, systems, data, people and processes
o Manage information security/IT service management system along with relevant policies, processes and procedures
o Undertake IT/Information security audits in accordance with the Internal Audit Plan
o Implement and maintain the GDPR compliance program and provide specialist advice on data protection issues
o Assist with investigations into complaints about breaches of the Act and undertake reporting/remedial action as required
o Provide support and advice for relevant areas of Information/ Cyber security and governance
o To support DPO with the management of Information Governance framework, implementing initiatives, regulations, standards across the business
• Professional qualification / certification in Information Security, Governance or Auditing disciplines
• Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing information governance, data privacy strategies, policies and procedures
• Experience in developing and implementing information security and data protection standards
• Previous background din carrying out IT audits with knowledge of current security risks and protocols
