An HR Officer is required to work on a 12 month FTC for a fantastic Innovation Technology Company located North of Cambridge City Centre.

Job Summary
The successful applicant will help support the needs of the steadily growing 70+ person business. The core objective of the role is to support the Head of HR in providing an excellent, legal complaint HR Service focused on recruiting, retaining, developing and motivating great people.

Role and Responsibilities

Recruitment & Induction
• Operational responsibility for recruitment, including supervising and supporting the HR Administrator to deliver the full recruitment process
• Liaising with the consultant and intern recruitment coordinators as well as the Head of HR to ensure that recruitment advertising and applications are managed appropriately and in a timely manner
• Working with the HR Administrator to maintain the recruitment database an provide reports as required
Business Support recruitment
• Assist manager with developing job profiles, person specifications and advertisements
• Liaise with head of HR and the relevant functional manager to ensure that recruitment advertising and applications are managed appropriately
• Coordinate the recruitment and selection processes for business support vacancies, including assisting with the development of interview plans
• Arrange interviews and record outcomes

Learning, training & Development
• Working as part of the training team to coordinate and address learning and development needs for all employees
• Assist with identifying and building relationships with external training providers
• Work with the HR Administrator to coordinate delivery of in house and external training sessions

Payroll & Employee Benefits
• Collating any changes and preparing internal payroll documents for checking
• Upload and submit payroll details to our payroll provider s web portal
