Working closely with the Senior HR Partner and management team, the HR Manager will take responsibility for ensuring the delivery of a highly professional and HR service to the business. Supporting growth and the ever changing needs of the business, the role will support and implement a number of commercial HR, people and business solutions to lead change within the organisation.
This is a fantastic generalist role providing hands on operational HR support to a diverse work force. The successful candidate will need to have a hard working and robust mentality, with a proven track record of dealing with all transactional elements of HR, including complex ER cases and some project based work.
CIPD qualification is beneficial but not essential, but candidates must be able to show proven success in a managerial or business partnering role. You will have a proven track record of leading teams, coupled with the ability to operate both strategically and operationally as required. However, this role will be spent dealing with operational matters and as such you must be able to demonstrate a proven experience in leading key operational HR agendas.
Experience within a unionised manufacturing environment would be a distinct advantage.
