Salary£40,000 - £45,000
A newly created role has arisen working within a leading commercial business based at their offices just outside Brentwood. This role will be part of a close knit and very capable HR team and work closely with all areas of the organisation. This will be a busy and varied role, but the main two areas of focus with be employee relations and HR systems. If you are an experienced HR Advisor who is proactive and enjoys finding solutions then this could be a great role for you.

Key duties and responsibilities will include;

• Taking ownership of the HR system ensuring that accurate and user friendly reports are generated
• Acting as a super user to support other HR colleagues on the system
• Proactively creating and devising relevant reporting for the leadership team
• All aspects of employee relations including;
• Managing sickness, absence and performance
• Coaching line managers
• Providing advice and support to employees and the management population
• Supporting with restructuring and consultations
• Mentoring the HR Administrator and Junior Advisor

Key skills and experience required

• Strong experience working with HR systems and able to create reports
• Excellent knowledge of UK employment law
• Experience of working in a generalist HR role with a good understanding of employee relations
• A good grasp of Excel
• Confident and capable with excellent communication skills

This role is being recruited initially on a 12 month contract basis but there could be longer term opportunities in the future.
