Do you want to really make a difference to the life of others? I have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to work for a leading children's charity based in East Anglia.

Job Responsibilities

• To manage flexible working requests, disciplinary matters to first stage meetings, grievance issues both formal and informal and performance management issues are appropriate
• To provide advice, guidance and support to managers in all aspects of HR management to ensure appropriate application of policies and procedures in line with best practice
• To manage employee relations casework, relating to sickness absence. To include making recommendations, giving advice and support to manager, liaising with occupational health, case review meetings with employees and managers
• To contribute to the review, development and implementation of EACH policies and procedures relating to Human Resources to reflect employment law, best practice, fairness & equity
• To provide administrative support to the team when required and implement improvements to HR administrative processes
• To oversee and authorise the preparation and issue of appropriate contractual documentation in relation to appointments and variations of employment
• Be involved with the development of the HR database
• To work with the recruitment coordinator as required to ensure that the recruitment and selection process for all staff is delivered in accordance with best practice and procedure
