The person…. You will be an experienced HR professional, ideally qualified CIPD Level 7, who has managed a small HR team before, is credible, approachable, able to balance the strategic and the day to day. You will be comfortable being part of the leadership team and balancing that with rolling your sleeves up to participate in the operational day to day generalist HR work.
You will of course be comfortable taking responsibility for your own workload and delivering effective outcomes. You will be approachable, knowledgeable about employment law and - more importantly - its practical application. You will be able to gain the trust and the confidence of your team, your peers and your wider colleagues, no matter their title. The business believe in respect and leading by example, so you will need to be someone who can walk the talk.
This is a full time role and you will based at their site on the Norfolk/Suffolk border but you will need to work at their other site based in South Suffolk on a regular basis, so a driving licence and access to a car is required.
