Pure are delighted to be exclusively partnering with the University of Suffolk to assist in the recruitment of a Financial Operations Manager.

This role is to manage the Financial Accounting operations which includes: Financial Accounting, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Taxation and Treasury.

Key Responsibilities:
-Oversee Financial accounting operations including the developing of processes and policies.
-Resolve operational difficulties and promote efficient working practices.
-Ensure cash flow forecasting is completed accurately.
- Prepare annual Financial Statements.
-Manage staff and the wider teams, ensuring performance and output levels are met.
-Assist the Finance Director in strategy and the development of the department.
-Liaising with internal and external auditors.
-Proactively engage in communications with the other Dirctorates at the University.
-Act as a representative of Finance and Planning Dirctorate at internal meetings.

-Previous team management experience
-Excellent Financial Accounting experience

- Strong analytical and investigative skills.

-Actively promotes change and improvement

To be considered you must be ACCA or ACA qualified with a proven history of Financial accounting and managing a team. An adaptable and proactive approach will be very beneficial along with being solutions lead and not afraid of showing your own initiative.

Experience in Higher Education or not for profit organisations will be extremely beneficial.
