Our client, an international organisation with an outstanding reputation for customer service is seeking a Qualified Accountant to manage accounting policy, corporate compliance and internal control within the EMEA region.

The role of Financial Controller for the EMEA region will take full ownership on all aspects of financial control and reporting. There will be regular business partnering within local EMEA Business Controllers, Finance Directors, Share Services Centre Management and Internal Auditors.

The role:-
• Lead the team in the production of accurate monthly reporting ensuring efficient and value adding analysis and commentary
• Control internal processes, best practice and report under tight deadlines with US/Local GAAP
• Deliver continuous improvement to the Accounting Shared Service Centre
• Produce relevant reporting to engage at weekly and monthly meetings
• Work closely with relevant controllers to ensure all local legal, statutory, VAT and tax reporting deadlines are met
• Manage and build key relationships with European Shared Services, Regional Managing Directors, Financial Accountants, etc

The candidate:-
• Qualified Accountant with experience within an EMEA finance environment
• Excellent working knowledge of European and US GAAP
• Experience of managing teams in a fast paced environment
• Ability to build long term relationships at all levels
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to explain accounting matters to non financial managers
