The role is an opportunity for a proactive, highly-driven individual to gain excellent experience in a rapidly growing business. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the individual will be responsible for the day to day accounting and reconciliation, assist in the implementation of new business processes and develop into the leader of the local finance team in the next two years.
There will also be the opportunity to work closely with the business to build scalable, efficient controls and processes.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibility for accounting entries
Daily bank reconciliations and postings
Supplier and fixed asset postings
Development of inventory reporting as the Company scales
Maintain reconciliations and reports
Lead the timely completion of monthly financial period close procedures
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Produce local entity financial reporting for consolidation
Support the delivery of business performance through ensuring accurate expense allocation and production of financial analysis reports for Department Heads.
Assist with preparation of annual corporation tax returns
Prepare indirect tax reporting
Assist the HR team in the preparation and filing of payroll tax reporting
Assist in the implement of new systems and processes to support the Company as it grows, ensuring processes are scalable and applicable to a multi-national environment.
Support the external audit process liaising directly with auditors and helping to co-ordinate an efficient audit process across finance
Assist in the implementation of ERP and other financial related systems.
The ideal candidate will either be a recently qualified individual looking for their first move into industry or an individual with existing financial accountant experience, looking to make the move to Finance Manager in the next two years or a Part qualified candidate looking to progress in a dynamic environment. You will also require a detailed understanding of IFRS and month end reporting with strong Excel skills.
