Reporting and working closely with the Finance Director you will be the right hand person and effectively grow into their number two. You will not have to be looking for a career in accountancy or finance but you will need to have exceptional Excel skills and be an expert and leader within this area of the company.
• Various Excel analysis using lookups and pivot tables
• Perform administration functions such as closing the month end, reconciling accounts in Excel by matching transactions, etc.
• Processing payments in the absence of the Finance Director
• Attend internal meetings i.e. board, divisional and sales meetings
• Attend external meetings, client lunches and networking events
• Other reports and tasks to aid the finance team
• Advanced Excel user with the ability to demonstrate this at interview stage
• Confident communicator both written and verbal
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Driven, hardworking and loyal
