This position could be part time 3 days a week or full time. This role will support the Finance Director and Management Accountant with the day to day transactional duties.
-Full responsibility for the Accounts Receivable & Payable functions
-Daily banking, credit control and debt reporting
-Cash receipts and payments allocation and bank reconciliation's
-Raise purchase orders and matching to supplier invoices
-Review and approve new sales orders using SalesForce
-Maintain the filing system for all invoices & expenses
-Assist with other related finance task on an ad-hoc basis
This role will suit candidates who are able to hit the ground running, this is a brand new position so experience is key.
The company currently use Sage but are moving across to Xero any previous experience of these packages would be an advantage.
As this role will play a vital part to the finance team it is essential to be able to work individually and as well as a team.
The role is based central Cambridge with parking but is also accessible via Cambridge train station.
