This privately owned, innovative telecommunications business is seeking an experienced and talented Recruitment Manager to join its expanding in-house team at a time of further rapid global growth in 2010. The successful applicant will account manage the delivery of recruitment across senior and middle management roles of new country launches and existing sales territories across commercial disciplines including sales, marketing, finance, operations and HR. Direct hiring is a core part of the strategy for 2010 to meet aggressive targets around growth, cost and quality.

The role reports to the Head of Recruitment and is based at the Head Office in the City, working closely with the senior leadership team in London and the country MDs. To support this planned organic growth, the business requires an individual with the experience and gravitas to undertake the following responsibilities:

• Supporting country managers across the European territories (Netherlands, Switzerland, UK, Spain and Denmark) and Australia to recruit their leadership teams.
• Work closely with the Business Development team to drive an effective recruitment strategy in line with new country launches.
• Develop a robust, time efficient and cost effective recruitment and selection process for those countries, utilising relevant direct hiring and agency liaison as appropriate.
• Recruitment of multiple roles at any one time within Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations.
• Drive best practice within the regions in the areas of attraction, selection and assessment, coaching locally embedded HR teams and international recruitment managers.
• Develop effective, credible relationships with senior management in the UK and overseas.
• Develop a strong network of recruitment partnerships and direct hire methodologies with third party recruiters and job boards across Europe and Australia.
• Work collaboratively across the newly formed in-house recruitment team to integrate the new application tracking system, a careers portal and an Employer Value Proposition.

Essential experience required:

• Proven track record of successful direct hire recruitment within sales, marketing, finance, operations and HR across Europe as a minimum.
• In-house recruitment background at an EMEA level with a medium or large commercial organisation renowned for best practice or innovative recruitment practices.
• Balanced with experience of working within smaller, fast-paced, rapidly changing environments undergoing massive growth – telecommunications, commercial start-ups or technology sectors background essential.
• 1 foreign language would be beneficial as would experience of working in a diverse organisation that matches the ethnic mix of its market.
In addition you will need to demonstrate tenacity, resilience and the ability to deliver in a fast paced environment.
